The Extreme Duty A440F Valve Body suits most 60 and 70 series and early petrol 80 series Toyota Land Cruisers with an Automatic Transmission.

Major features of the Extreme Valve Body include far greater clamping load to all clutch packs and torque converter lock-up in 3rd and 4th gears eliminating slip when high HP/Torque engines are used and in the case of heavy towing.

Eliminates overheating and transmission failure due to heat, provides quicker and cleaner shifts without the flaring and sloppy changes leaving the clutches with very little wear and giving you a far greater transmission life span.

No flaring on kick down, higher cooler flow, lock-Up in both 3rd and 4th gears instead of 4th gear lock-up only, higher lube pressure and flow.

Here at Wholesale Automatic Transmissions we have spent the last 3-4 years refining our Extreme Recalibrated Stage II A440F Valve Body for all Toyota Landcruiser 60, 62 and 80 series up to late 1992 and now it is ready for release. Major features of our New Extreme Valve Body is far greater clamping load to all clutch packs and convertor lock-up eliminating slip when high HP/Torque engines are used and in the case of heavy towing, Eliminates over heating and transmission failure due to heat produced by Lock-Up slippage, Quicker and nice crisp instant shifts without the flaring and sloppy changes leaving the clutches with very little ware giving you a far greater transmission life span, No flaring on kick down, Higher cooler flow, Lock-Up in both 3rd and 4th gears instead of 4th gear lock-up only, Higher lube pressure and flow. Extreme Valve Body comes as either 4th gear lock-up only or 3rd And 4th gear lock-up.

Our Extreme Stage II Recalibrated change over valve bodies have not only been designed for all V8 conversions but also for all Turbo Charged and Super Charged and also for anybody including myself that wanted a sharper and more satisfying shift feel. Our New Recalibrated Valve Body is the same unit that is used on our Completely Rebuilt Extreme A440F 4 Speed Toyota Land Cruiser Transmissions and Kilm Bronzed and Micro Balanced Convertors.

We have also found that using full Synthetic transmission oils will lower the overall transmission temperature even further by a small amount and is also engineered to remain stable under the most severe conditions. We use Castrol "Transmax-z" but have also found that all Allison Transmission dealers have a product called "TranSynd" while Amsoil also have "ATF" and "ATD". All of these automatic transmission oils have one thing in common and that is that they are all Full Synthetic. They will NOT replace the need for a super low stall convertor but if you want that added edge on overall reliability then this is it.

We also don't discount a good oil cooler as we always will recommend a suitable cooler in any vehicle that runs a transmission. The transmission life span is mostly measured in heat, the hotter the transmission runs the shorter the life expectancy while the closer you can get your transmission to run at room temperature then your transmission is expected to last what is considered in repairers terms as a life time 350,000-500,000Km depending on usage and other unforseen factors.
